Project Description
Morven Construction completed a six-week yard improvement project at Fairfield Elementary School, transforming the outdoor space into a safer, more engaging area for students. The project involved removing outdated structures like benches, baseball backstops, and a basketball court, followed by the installation of a limestone screenings track, long jump sand pit, and new chain link fencing to improve security.
A new play area was developed with proper excavation, drainage, and Engineered Wood Fibre safety surfacing. Landscaping improvements included berms, new trees, and sod.
Despite delays in playground equipment delivery, Morven Construction coordinated closely with the school to ensure safety during work near students, completing the project on time with minimal disruption. The result was a modern, functional space for outdoor activities.
