Project Description
For the Tru Hotel building project in Gananoque, Morven Construction was contracted to bring water to the property. Located in a bustling area near the entrance of Shoreline Casino 1000 Islands and the eastern entrance to the town from the 401, the project presented unique challenges due to its high traffic volume.
To facilitate the installation, we employed a strategic approach: 200 meters of the water main were installed through open cut excavation along the highway on-ramp and marshy area while an additional 70 meters were installed by directional drilling near the busy intersection.
Despite the demanding environment, our team safely completed this project within the allocated four-week timeline. Guests of the Tru Hotel can now enjoy their stay in the Gananoque area.
