Project Description
Morven Construction began working on the Tru by Hilton Hotel project in Napanee, located at 17 McPherson Drive, in January 2024, after the project had already started. Initially contracted to backfill the basement walls, Morven's scope expanded as the project progressed, with Dynamic Builders bringing them on for additional work.
Morven’s responsibilities included site servicing for the watermain, sanitary, and storm sewers, along with the installation of a CDS Unit (Continuous Deflective Separation) to filter debris from the stormwater before discharge. The team also handled interior trenching for plumbing and the installation of three basement holding tanks. Granular material was placed for the basement concrete slab, and excavation and Granular B placement were completed for the parking lot.
Additionally, Morven backfilled the interior pool area after the walls were installed. The project is ongoing and progressing smoothly with Morven’s contributions essential to the development of the new hotel.
