Project Description
The Limestone District School Board selected Morven to complete a full reconstruction of the north side school yard of Collins Bay Public School. With only seven weeks to finish the project, the team had to work quickly to meet project deadlines. From deconstruction and paving to sewers and landscaping, there were many aspects to consider when completing the work but the Morven team delivered on time and on budget.
The school needed a full reconstruction of the asphalt area including the replacement of underlying granular, construction of a school bus drop-off zone (granular base & asphalt paving) as well as the removal and reinstallation of fencing and gates. The Morven team also replaced the existing shallow sanitary sewers and installed sports equipment and landscaping.
